FAQs
What will happen with all of Cobargo Community Access Centers (CCAC) assets?
The Committee decided to handover surplus assets to the Cobargo Community
Development Corporation as they share similar objectives to the Cobargo Community
Access Centre. In this way, Centre resources will continue to support the community of
Cobargo through the REBUILD COBARGO project.
[Under Clause 45 of the Centre’s Constitution, the Access Centre is required to distribute any
surplus property of the association to another organisation with similar objects and which is
not carried on for the profit or gain of its individual members.]
Why is the CCAC closing?
After careful consideration, CCAC has determined that we have successfully fulfilled our mission to support the community following the bush fires. This conclusion is supported by the noticeable decline in the utilization of our services over recent months.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have served our community during this challenging time. Moving forward, we are confident that the community is now in a stronger position.
Can the community still use the space?
The CCDC will be using the office space for their operations during the main street rebuilding phase. We encourage community members to reach out if they have specific needs or requests regarding the office space.
Will the High Tea Tuesdays still happen?
Yes, they will still be on the third Tuesday of each month, held at the hall at Christ Church, Hoyer Street, Cobargo. (The church has been funding the High Teas for some time now)
What if I need printing done?

What if I need help with my computer or phone?
Narooma Library runs regular Be Connected classes.
